Whats the username on your computer? Somebody else was having this same problem and it was because they had a non-english symbol in their computer's name.

if not, I probably have no answer to it :\

MadCow tutorial Empty tutorial incomplete

Post  tazok Tue Jan 03, 2012 12:55 pm

Mooext broken, heard madcow works.

Tutorial step 2-3 transition missing. BAD TUTORIAL.

1) went to github.com/Wesko/MadCow/downloads,
downloaded zip, unpacked. nothing to launch, readme empty. ??? Should this be compiled in with some compiler? What is required?
2) went to webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?ix=hcb&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=cache%3Apastebin.com%2F0CipcFz5
Downloaded small basic and Data Extension Installer.
MadCow.sb not found.
3) Found this thread. No information how to launch application window in pic3.

From my tutorial, its from the already compiled rar file posted above it.

you need to compile the newest ones with C# compiler.

Here is the newest release of it already compiled, if it fails with an exception start it up again.

http://www.mediafire.com/?0emkamleruj6bhq

It's all in one folder now.

So New Tutorial:

Step 1: UnRar the release.rar

Step 2: Place the folder anywhere

Step 3: open it up

Step 4: Press Find Diablo 3, then choose a repository at the top, validate the repository, update mooege, copy MPQ's

Step 5: hit Play Diablo (Local), select the repo you downloaded, press play diablo, and everythign should work.

-------------------------------------------------------------
People trying to play on Patch 9 Mooege, MadCow will not work because we cannot parse the 8101 tree branch with our current setup.

People with Diablo Patch 7 may use MadCow with Compatible Patch 7 forks.
